User Content Guidelines
Effective June 12, 2026Last updated June 12, 2026
Mooday is a private space to record and reflect on how you feel. These User Content Guidelines explain what is and is not acceptable for the content you create in the app, such as mood entries, notes, activity tags, photos, and voice memos ("Your Content").
These guidelines apply to all of Your Content, including private journal entries that only you can see. Keeping content private does not exempt it from these acceptable-use rules. They exist to keep Mooday safe and lawful for everyone and to let us act when the app or its users are put at risk.
1. Your Responsibility for Your Content
You are responsible for everything you create and store in Mooday. By adding content to the app, you confirm that you have the right to store it and that it does not break the law or these guidelines.
You should also make sure you have permission to store any material that involves other people, such as photos or recordings that include them.
2. Prohibited Content
You agree not to create, upload, or store content that:
- Is illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Is abusive, harassing, hateful, or threatening toward any person or group.
- Exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any way.
- Encourages or promotes violence, or harm against other people.
- Is exploitative or deceptive, including fraud, scams, or impersonation.
- Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
If you are going through a difficult time, Mooday is here to help you reflect. Mooday is not a crisis service and does not provide medical or mental-health advice. If you are in crisis or need urgent support, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
3. Respecting Other Users and Support
Treat our team and any other users with respect. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Harass or abuse our support channels, or send threatening, deceptive, or spam messages to our team.
4. Protecting the Service
Mooday should stay safe and reliable for everyone. You agree not to:
- Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or other users' data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service using automated means.
- Overload or attack the Service, or send more requests than a human could reasonably produce.
5. Enforcement
If you violate these guidelines, we may take action to protect the Service and its users. Depending on the situation, and consistent with our Terms of Service, this may include removing access to certain features, restricting or suspending your account, or terminating it.
Where appropriate and lawful, we will give you notice and a chance to resolve the issue first.
6. Relationship to Our Terms
These guidelines supplement the Acceptable Use section of our Terms of Service, which govern your overall use of Mooday. If there is any conflict, the Terms of Service control. We may update these guidelines from time to time; when we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
